Despite the repeated warnings about the potential dangers of kids having too much screen time, a new study published in USA Today reports that most parents are concerned about their child's screen time.
Many studies have expressed vast concerns about kids watching too much TV and spending too much time with their other electronics. For example, the Mayo Clinic notes that too much screen time is linked to obesity, poor academic scores, behavior problems, and sleep difficulties to name a few.
This summer, take steps to get your kids outside and encourage them to participate in activities that don't involve electronics. It can make a big difference to their physical and mental health.
