This is also a perfect recipe to transform with mix-ins. Crush some Oreo cookies and add them to the ice cream freezer when your ice cream is just about done. Or, toss in a handful of chocolate chips and some cookie dough. You can add fresh fruit, swirl in a ribbon of chocolate sauce, or add some crunchy, toasted nuts. That's the best part about vanilla ice cream: the possibilities are endless.
