Spring isn't the only time to find great items on the side of the road, curb or near dumpster/recycling areas in apartment complexes. Since schools and colleges start in August and September, most rental agreements end and begin at the same time. That means it's time to keep an eye out for roadside finds. However, always keep in mind the dos and don'ts of taking roadside finds. Always make sure the item is available for taking and, of course, that it's actually worth taking.
