Reuse Buttons to Create Home Decor and Gifts

I recently purchased some new clothes for early spring (it feels almost like summer here in Florida). Whenever I buy new clothes, I always have a pile of spare buttons when I take off the tags. So what do I do with them? I definitely don't throw them away. Instead, I store them in a glass jar with a lid. Not only is it good to have a collection in case a button pops off or breaks, but buttons also make great items to create unique home decor and easy, cheap gifts for birthdays and holidays.
