Refurbish a Vintage Bread Box

Bread boxes are not a common household item as they once were. Finding one at a local thrift store or garage sale is sometimes a gem. Lucky for me, my grandparents were getting rid of one of their old vintage bread boxes during their annual spring cleaning.

It didn't really fit my style, but it was very meaningful to me. Instead of letting it sit in the closet, I decided to refurbish it. I cleaned it up, sanded it and slapped on a fresh new coat of red paint. Now, it's a bright, vibrant staple piece to my office to store bills and mail.
