Teaching Kids to Eat Healthy Isn't Easy

Teaching children to do anything in moderation isn't always easy, especially when it comes to food. Today's world offers a lot of mixed messages about eating habits.

After all, a large emphasis is placed on the importance of eating healthy. Most schools teach kids to get exercise and talk about the dangers of obesity.

However, children are also bombarded with advertisements for sugary, fattening foods. TV commercials, computer advertisements, magazine covers advertise unhealthy products to children.

It's no wonder that kids get confused about food much of the time. Most parents have their jobs cut out for them helping children learn how to eat a healthy diet while still enjoying occasional treats in moderation.
