Will Facebook or Google Win the Merger and Acquisition Battle?

Illustration by Eddie Guy / CNN Money Facebook and Google are always making headlines. Whether it's a new feature or product, flip flopping of employees from one company to the other or the purchase of another company, both companies keep journalists busy.

Last week Google bought Wildfire app for a reported $350 million. Despite being in the midst of an IPO, Facebook was still snapping up other technology companies. In July, Facebook bought Spool and Acrylic Software. The combination of the purchase of Spool and Acrylic indicates Facebook wants to build an internal "read it later" service. But we'll have to wait and see.
