I Got a Facebook Gift...Now What?

Did you get a notification that you got a gift? It's not spam, it's not a Facebook App request and it's not a trick. Facebook now offers Facebook Gifts as an easy way to shop for the ones you love. When you get the notification, click "Open Gift" to enter where you want your Gift sent. If it is a digital gift, you will be asked for an email address. If it is a physical gift, you will be asked for a shipping address. Don't worry, Facebook will not save the shipping information or even share it with the gift giver. Luckily, you don't have to wait to see what the gift is. Because when you click "Open Gift" you will see all the information about your present, except how much was spent to purchase it.

Facebook even makes it easy to say "Thank You" because a pop-up will appear after you have completed your shipping information to send a message to the gift giver. And you can let everyone on know from your Timeline that you received a gift. Although if you are not in to bragging about how awesome you are or your friend is for giving you a gift, you can hide the post. Curious to see what the box will look like when it arrives?
