If you are in San Francisco before the end of August be sure to check out the De Young Museum's newest fashion exhibit 'From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk.'
It's an interactive fashion exhibit that dives into the mind of couture designer Jean Paul Gaultier with mannequins that talk to you.
Jean Paul Gaultier designed this exhibit with an eye to capture the vitality of the runway. To that end, the exhibit displays over a hundred unique garments from Gaultier's past collections, set against a background of mannequin mermaids.
