You probably recognize George Kotsiopoulos, from E!'s hit fashion TV series "Fashion Police" with host Joan Rivers and co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic and from all the red carpet coverage by E! of the Golden Globes and the Oscars. What you may not know is how he got started in fashion.

In a recent interview with George Kotsiopoulos, we chatted about just that subject.

JH - "How did you get started in fashion?"

G - "I spent eight years as an associate fashion editor at the New York Times Magazine, working in Los Angeles. I fell into fashion when I started assisting a fashion editor at the New York Times, who was dating someone who lived in Los Angeles. And the more serious their relationship got, the more serious my job became. I was very fortunate to have a New York based job while living in Los Angeles, because this was in the late 90s."
