As we move into the spring, I start to think about all the wonderful harvests that lie before us. Spring means planting and gardening. Although many fruits now come frozen so you can use them year-round, there's nothing like picking fresh fruit. While we are waiting for summer bounties, why not pick up some frozen mango and make a great popsicle recipe?
One of my favorite things to do with fresh citrus is to make sherbet. Do you know what the difference is between sherbet and sorbet? They are pretty similar, but a sherbet is like a sorbet that has added milk or cream. The dairy creates a combination that is halfway between a sorbet and an ice cream, but all the way delicious.
