Staining a Wooden Tray

I love decorating with trays around my home, so when I found a nice, wooden tray at my new local thrift store, I just had to grab it. Instead of painting the tray like I usually do with wooden home accent items, I decided to stain the tray a darker color. Boy, am I glad I did! I just love the rich, dark color of the new stain and the semi-gloss shine of the new finish I applied.
