Designing Your Training Plan (Part 1)

In a previous article, we talked about setting goals for the new triathlon season, building your draft Race Calendar, and building your initial training plan. We said that in general, a training plan has four parts:

  • Train to train,
  • Build your aerobic base,
  • Sharpen your focus,
  • Rehearse and taper,

In this article, we'll look at the first two of those.

Tip of the Day: Hills build strength and stamina. Find them and embrace them. Don't go fast. Just make it over them.
