If someone asked you to try chicken breast for dessert, would you? If you've ever had Turkish 'chicken breast' pudding, you'd jump at the offer!

The recipe for this classic Turkish milk pudding actually contains very finely shredded chicken breast. This may seem like a strange combination, but it really works.

This pudding is absolutely delicious, without even the smallest trace of chickeny flavor. In every bite, all you taste is thick, refreshing milk pudding with a touch of cinnamon.

'Chicken breast' takes a little bit of effort to prepare, but the result is worth it. Be prepared first for lots of washing and draining. It's said that the more the chicken is washed and drained, the better the pudding. Also be prepared for lots of stirring. Long, slow cooking makes the pudding thick enough to cut.

'Chicken breast' pudding is yet another Turkish dessert that is not only sweet and satisfying, but also very nutritious. This dessert is very high in protein and calcium.

Substitute whole milk with skim and sugar with sweetener and you have a truly delicious dessert good for low carb and low calorie diets alike. And what better way to get your kids to eat their meat. It seems Turkish mothers found the solution centuries ago.

Try this recipe for authentic Turkish 'chicken breast' pudding. Once you try it, you may prefer chicken for dessert more often.
