'99 voyager: transmission solenoid pack, serviceable?

Is there a way to test the solenoid b4 replacing? Can it be rebuilt or is it wise to replace?

Hi John, As far as I know the parts for the solenoid pack are not sold separately so what I hear from others is 'total replacement'. I haven't done the job, but I would be inclined to look at the interior part that is ID's by the code and see if it might just be gummed up. were I doing it myself. Because it is easy to r & r the pack it would be worth a try. Please let me know what happens if you try it. And, please 'rate' my answer; I appreciate your nomination of me. Roland
