1996 dodge caravan starting problem

This same problem happened about 3 months ago and mechanic 'fixed" the fuel pump (2nd time in 6 months). The issue is the car wont start, but turns over until I've tried 3 times with key in ignition. Do you have any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

need a lot more info then this for me to help online. U haft to remember I am not there to look at it see what has been done and do some tests. If u can not provide info like why the fuel pump was replaced or whats going on when it wont start there is nothing anyone can really do online buy guess.
