QuestionEdit

Last night after unlocking my car with key less remote my dome and door lights won't shut off I have to unhook battery cable so the battery won't drain any ideas?

AnswerEdit

Hi Kat, That might be due to a door not being secured against the door frame tightly enough to push in the door ajar sensor. Try pushing in on the driver door and the passenger door to see if that will turn off the lights. If so, move the striker in the door frame inboard a fraction of an inch so as to secure the door more firmly to the frame. If that doesn't seem to be the issue, then there is something wrong with the remote door lock/unlock function IF in the past just by unlocking the door that would automatically turn on the interior lights, but that may not be the case. Do you recall? If it was, and now they won't shut off then we have an issue with the body module not completing its task. But would certainly first check the door not firmly being held to the frame theory. Roland
