1997 chrysler sebring jxi: 2,5l: no start

I replaced my spark plugs and wires on my 97 Chrysler Sebring JXI 2.5 liter V-6 convertible. Now the car turns but will not start. I removed one wire at a time and replaced one at a time. Then removed old spark plugs and replaced them. Please advise? Thanks

Hi Bryan, Have you checked for spark? Was the engine running before you changed the wires and plugs? Try turning the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light, which remains 'on', to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat the process to assure an accurate set of flash counts. Then let me know the results. Please 'rate' my answer (see below). Thanks, Roland
