Thanks much- working from a distance right now gathering info and need to know what tools to take up to MI to do the job for my daughter's car! Since I worked for GM not sure about the Chryslers! :-) Appreciate your

AnswerEdit

Hi Dan, The issue is not 300 or 300M, but rather which engine is it: 2.7L or 3.2/3.5L? I have the pages for either of those engines and can copy them and attach to an email I would send to you directly. It is just a matter, in either case of loosening the bolt on the shaft of the adjusting pulley and then loosening he adjusting bolt nearby, replacing the belt and adjust tighten the two bolts. I would believe a set of metric box end wrenches would do the job. The serpentine is for the power steering/alternator drive, while the other belt drives only the air conditioner compressor, so verify that you are going to change the ps/alt belt. So if you would ask your daughter to read the name on the engine as to the L size that would help me to choose a manual that shows exactly the diagram you need. So tell me your email address in your follow-up question, but don't use the @ symbol, instead us 'at', otherwise the 'program' automatically will erase the entire address from your message to me. Please 'rate' my answer (see below). Thanks, Roland
