31 day kassel pendulum clock adjustment

Question

If clock runs slow, should the adjustment nut on the Bob be run up or down? How many turns at a time should be attempted for a 5 min. an hour slow problem? Thank you for your help, this is the first 31 day Kassel Pendulum clock we purchased and it did not come with any instructions

If the clock is slow, raise the pendulum disc. The ratio of turns=min. per day depends on the length of pendulum your clock uses. Start with 10 turns, reset the time and see how much effect it has over 24 hrs. You can then calculate how much each turn affected it.
