QuestionEdit

The air won't flow through the air vents. It only comes from below. I recently had new front wheel bushings put on and I don't know if that had anything to do with it. Is there something I can check myself?

AnswerEdit

Hi Dale, There is a door inside the HVAC unit that selects the pathway for the air. It is called the mode door and it has an electrical actuator. It could well be that the mode door actuator is bad. Let me know if you want the details of getting to that acturator to check out its action. I can you send you the pages from the manual that show how to get under the dash and remove it, attaching them to an email. But you need to tell me your email address which you can do by sending me a follow-up question where you put that email address in the text of the question. Then you have to select the button to make the question PRIVATE. If you don't make the question private then the address is erased I can't see it. This has nothing to do with the wheel bearing repair. Please "rate" my answer (see below). Thanks, Roland
