Attaching a high voltage to low voltage fixture

A 500 watt outdoor security light was installed in the stucco on the outside of my home, near the roof. The installer got power for the security light by attaching it to the chandelier inside the dining room. I'm concerned about that much power passing through the chandelier to feed the security light. Shouldn't the security light have a direct feed from the panel?

Which is the high voltage and which is the low voltage?

You mentioned watts but not volts and that would of given us the amperage.

We also need to know what else is on that circuit.

The security light does not have to have a direct feed from the panel.
