Question

im installing a hot tub and i have to install a gfci which is 60a i also have to install a 60a bracker in my bracker box, my question is, on my 220v bracker it has two switches each market 30a does that make it 30a or 60a bracker. ive been to 3 different hardware stores and cant seam to get a strait answer, i think that i need one marker 60a on each switch, please help me, thank you

That is a good question. The markings on the breaker are not meant to be added. You are correct you need a breaker marked 60amps.
