Chest of Drawers

We have a 30 yr old Davis Cumberland Valley bedroom set. The drawers have a center guide and the drawer bottom sides glide over what looks like a plastic piece that was nailed into the bottom of the drawer frame. Several have broken which then leaves the nail to scrape the bottom of the drawer as it opens. Not good. What can the slide be replaced with? What is your recommendation. Have called the factory, no help, looked at refinisher and no help.

AnswerEdit

You could remove the center guide system and mount typical drawer slides on the sides of the interior..(just wooden slides that the drawers would rest on....), that would be the easiest, most efficient way to resolve this.
