Chimney draft

I recently bought a used woodstove,It has a 7inch round chimney pipe coming out of the back. I need to know if a 8x8 chimney will give me enough draft for proper operation.

yes it should work fine, check with your local building department and I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, (there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
