QuestionEdit

Hi there, I have a 1998 Chrysler Voyager 3.3. I tried to start it but every time the car would start and about 2-3 seconds later the motor will just die. I did this 3 times and now the lights at the top comes on but not the lights on the instrument cluster and the motor won't even swing, it is jut dead Please help

AnswerEdit

Hi Melt, It sounds to me like you have two problems. First the battery is now too weak to turn the starter motor so you need to recharge it or get a jump start from another vehicle. Second, you may have a vehicle theft security system that has not disarmed. Try: lock/unlock at the passenger door using the door key to see if that might end the problem of dying after 2-3 seconnd, after you get the battery charged or a jumper in place. Is there a theft alarm condition light on the top of the dash and what is it doing? Roland
