QuestionEdit

First, let me thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I have numeric values (set as text) in a column. Each cell is a different value. I want to append to the values in each cell with the same text. ie " Thank you for your time Erik

AnswerEdit

Not clear what the ultimate purpose is, but that aside ¨C the easiest way to do it would be to use a blank column as a "helper" column ¨C into this type

=YourCell & " Your Extra Text"

Replace my YourCell and Your Extra Text with the cell reference and text (or cell reference again). Fill this down, then copy the results, select the first original source cell and use edit, paste special to paste the VALUES over the data ¨C this should then give you the text you want. You specified that the numbers are formatted as text, so if I've understood this correctly you shouldn't have to use formatting instructions in the helper formula. Once done, the helper column can be deleted as it has done it's job.
