Hi John, That code means that the relay which powers the electronic transaxle's functioning is not closing its internal contact points when requested to do so. You could try substiting another relay in the power box with the same part number but with no need in the basic function of the car for that tran relay (such as the fan/wiper/AC clutch). You would then get back the normal shifting if that has not been the case recently. If that doesn't solve the problem then you would want to check out the wiring circuits of the trans relay.
