Ignoring 0 count

count without 0 or #n/A


pleas ehelp in getting the count without 0 values or "#n/a" i tried thru countif, please go thru the attached file

If you have2007 or later then

Assume theSummary is in cell D3, then in cell E5 (Designation in column A, Amount in column B)

=COUNTIFS(A:A,D5,B:B,">0")

that worked for me; ignoring both zeros and error values


if you don't have2007, then post a followup. Also indicate whether you are willing to have an intermediate column with another formula for each row or you only want to work with the data you have.
