Can anfile by using VBA kill itself and terminate the application.

As far as I know, you can use vba to kill a file (using the "kill" keyword), but I'm not familiar with any way to kill the workbook in which the vba code itself resides. In your specific situation, I'm sure there's a work-around... such as launching vba code in the Personal workbook to close and kill the active workbook.
