Lock certain cells in workbook

Can you help with a procedure to unlock all ColorIndex = 36 cells in a workbook, the rest of the cell must be locked?

I can't give you much more information than is in the help section of excel. Which you have presumably read. If not, go to help, type in protection, and you will see a pretty good explanation of the process.

VBA experts can write macros that will protect or lock certain specific cells based on the cell on data or color, etc. I am not a VBA expert so I can't give you that code. I you need that type of help I suggest you reask the question of another allexperts person and check the resumes for one who is VBA/macro profficient.
