Macro to clear cell contents of a cell in a row if data is entered in another cell in the same row.

I have a macro that puts an "X" in cells when you double click in a cell.

If for instance, I put an "X" in cell L7, but afterwards decides to put an "X" in cell M7, the macro must delete the "X" in cell L7. At any given time I only want one "X" in any of the rows in the range (L7;O51). I am using2003.

I would appreciate it if you can give me any advice on how to accomplish this, as I don't have a clue as to how to achieve this.

Ivan What do you mean by "for instance"? You want a macro that will delete the x in L7 if you put an x in M7? So, you want this to happen for all rows 7-51. If you put an x in o7 should it delete x's in L or M? What if you enter something other than x? What does this have to do with the double-click macro? This will probably be easy to do, but, I need to understand the rule a little better.
