my bull mastiff bitch is two years old, has gone off her food and needs coaxing she has lost weight. I have noticed when she empties herself she loses clear mucus sometimes there is a small amount of blood.

I'm sorry, needs coaxing for what? If she is passing clear, mucousy stools she has a digestive disorder which is why she is losing weight. This is something that needs to be evaluated promptly by the vets as they can be very complex.

She will be put on a different diet also and probably given some enzymes with her food for life. Please make an appointment asap.
