QuestionEdit

What is a good type of oil filter and oil brand i can put in my 1998 chrysler sebrings? I don't know too much about cars and what would be the number on the product so I could find in stores?

AnswerEdit

Hi Kristian, I don't have any recommended brands of filter or oil so long as not of an unknown quality (most all will have 'standard' symbols claiming to meet specifications). I generally buy whatever is on sale or the lowest price. You would want to use 10W-30 oil and change it at 7,500 mile intervals, and change the filter at 15,000 mile intervals which is what was recommened in the Chrysler service manual for '98. The oil filter number would be listed in a catalog at the parts store, often that is located in the vicinity of the oil filters proper. Roland
