I AM CREATING A WORKSHEET IN EXCEL, EX: COST/UNIT IS $2.99; NUMBER OF UNITS IS 25; TOTAL COST IS $74.75, WHAT IS THE FORMULA TO CALCULATE THE PRECENTAGE (% OF GRAND TOTAL)?

2.99 is located in cell A1 25 is located in cell A2

The following formula is located in cell A3: =+A2*A1

The result, of course, is 74.75

In cell A4 I have this formula to calculate the individual price's % of the grand total: =+A1/A3

The result is 4% - which makes perfect sense since 25 goes into 100 exactly 4 times.
