QuestionEdit

QUESTION: Hi,

I have bought an Ansonia Royal Bonn La Rambla clock with no penulum. Would you know which size / type I should buy to fit?? Many thanks!

Mairi

ANSWER: These clocks generally use a specific pendulum for Ansonia clocks. There are 3 or 4 different lengths on them so it may be difficult to tell what one you need. Are there any markings stamped on the back of the clock movement like 4-1/2 or 4-5/8?

QUESTION: Thanks so much for your reply. There are no numbers, only the company name and New York. The case is stamped with the shape name, La Rambla. Thanks for your help.

AnswerEdit

There is not enough information for me to say what pendulum will fit your clock. There are several pendulum lengths available. Your clock probably uses a 3-1/2" or a 5-1/8" pendulum. If your pendulum is too short the clock will too run fast. If it's too long it will run slow.
