Wood stove chimney support box.

I am in the process of replacing the stove pipe on my wood stove. After removing the old stove pipe (approximately 18 years old) I find that the connection between support box is corroded through and separated from the support box. Can this be repaired in some way or does the entire support box need to be replaced.

Hello Ron I would replace the hole box (with the exact same one) the pipe manufacture says you can only use there support box for their pipe. If you can not find the original support box then replace the entire system, pipe and all. don't take chances.
