I would like to know if there is a way to change a cell's background color based on a formula result. i.e. if the number >0 cell background=Green if <0 background=Red Please let me know and many

You don't say what version ofyou're using, so I'll guess it's2007.

Select the cell(s). From Home ribbon, under Styles, choose Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cell Rules, Greater Than, 0 [with] Custom Format, Fill, [Green], OK, OK. Then choose Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cell Rules, Less Than, 0 [with] Custom Format, Fill, [Red], OK, OK.
