The National Restaurant Association (NRA) predicts more people will go out on Valentine's Day than stay home. That's good news for the Atlanta restaurants scene, who will see star-crossed lovers and desperate daters cobbling together a plan for the big night.

Many restaurants are requiring a credit card to hold reservations through the week, including Veni Vidi Vici in Midtown.

According to Creative Loafing, "51 percent of OpenTable diners plan to eat out on Valentine's Day, 41 percent say they plan to celebrate on Feb. 13, 15, or 16 instead."

I'm with them. I'll be out on the town on the 16th. Who's staying in for a cozy meal this Valentine's Day?
