After having a delicious New York style slice at Full Moon Pizza on the famous Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, I was determined to recreate their delicious sauce. The secret of a good New York style sauce is spices and sugar. Neapolitan style pizza sauce doesn't have anything in it besides tomatoes, so if you like a more robust flavor, then this New York style sauce is perfect for you. I used it to make a simple pie topped with fresh mozzarella and baby broccoli. Yum!
